Description: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiasticHealth Promotion Specialist to join our SexualHealth and HIV Service which is one of the mostrespected in the country. CLASH works with clientswho find it difficult to access mainstream healthservices, including men and women who sell sex,drug users, homeless men and women, young people,gay and bisexual men. The Service is provided viaa mixture of Outreach, 1-2-1 sessions, Groupsessions, Satellite Clinics, Training, Workshopsand Drop- In sessions. These Services areconducted at the CLASH work base, and a through avariety of settings in and around Camden,Islington and Westminster including on the street,in saunas and sex workers' flats It will requirean individual who is passionate about healthpromotion, is self motivated and who can workindependently and as part of the CLASH team. Aninnovative approach and understanding of theprinciples and practices of good sexual andreproductive health and the barriers to theseclient groups accessing services are essential TheSexual Health Service is committed to fullyimplementing Service Line Management. There is anexpectation that Service Lines should be run as“independent businesses”, delivering an agreedsurplus.
