Dear Assembly Executive member
Your annual regional university consultative meeting will take place on 27th February 2016 at the regional centre in Camden.
OUSA is entitled to send 20 students to each meeting. Out of this entitlement, we aim to send 2 members of Central Executive Committee, including the SAR for the region where that is possible. We also offer automatic spaces to the Assembly Executive, so I would be very grateful if you could let me know, as soon as possible, whether you will be able to attend. We will then know how many places we are able to offer to other students
We very much hope that our CEC team and the Assembly Executive members will take an active role in the afternoon OUSA session. (More information will be provided about this in the coming weeks.) After this, we open places up to the wider student population in the region.
All meetings will follow the same format which is set out in the attached overview of the day. The 3 consultation topics will be finalised by 7th January and I will let you know what they are as soon as possible after that date. Students from across the regions and nations have contributed to the setting of the agenda via a student consultation on the University’s Student Consultation website.
If you would like further information on the university’s consultative processes, please visit the Student Consultation website at:http://www.open.ac.uk/students/consultation/ .
With seasonal greetings
Kate
