Saddened On My 51st Birthday

Today is my 51st birthday.
I spent this morning at the Chelsea Academy, amongst friends, taking part in some of the many amazing workshops of the 2012 SLAA - Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous Convention. I found much to satisfy my love addiction and sexual anorexia.

I arrived on time for a supervised contact with my beloved son James. I was looking forward to visiting the London Transport Museum with him.
Sadly
The contact supervisor did NOT appear, so my son and I could not go and I was not allowed to stay with him.

Above are photos taken today by Peter [my son's foster father], of my son & me. Plus a photo of the birthday gifts which my adorable son gave me for my 51st.

meeting which I attend, and noticed that the on Saturday 11th November 2012, the topic being discussed will be of Gender. I had a phone contact with my beloved son, James. Amongst other things, his voice is breaking and he seems to be growing up so fast. So much time has past since I took him to his first Religious Society of Friends - Quaker Meeting House for Worship, at the Streatham Meeting, aged: seven weeks old.

Quakers - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quakers
Quakers, or Friends, are members of the Religious Society of Friends, also called the Friends' Church. Quakers' central doctrine is the priesthood of all believers.

During our conversation, my son discussed his activities as a new Air Cadet. He sounded exited about being a member of the Cadets and talked to me about taking part in future Remembrance Day Parades, and seeing me in the crowd, but not being able to turn and look at me or smile.  James then explained, that he will register me in his head and when he has performed his duties, he will smile at me and tell me all about it. James also mentioned that there are girl Cadets with him too. When he then voiced his speculation to me, about the female Cadets ability to keep pace, with the male Cadets when running long distances, he commented, "that's sexist."

My son wished me a happy birthday, several times today. I also confirmed that I will be accompanying him to the London Transport Museum, in Covent Gardens on my birthday. This is because my dear son recently won two tickets to enter the London Transport Museum free of charge, due to his politeness. He then told me about his prize and asked me if I would go with him. I decided using the tickets on my birthday would make it extra special. So I am looking forward to our time together.

Tonight James told me that tomorrow he will be meeting with a friend who he met sometime during his ten years as a Rudolf Steiner Independent school pupil. I am pleased.

I know that my son is a 'Star Trek' fan. However he also likes 'Sherlock Holmes' and 'Dr Who', as well as having a life long, deep affection for Air crafts.

Conservative Party Conference - Today.

Today, whilst I was at the Conservative Party Conference, I received a phone call from Lyn, my beloved son James' foster mother. Lyn told me that my son has now joined the Air Cadets. I am so proud of James and proud to be a Conservative.

The magnificent speeches which I lessoned to today, contained public confirmation from Maria Miller MP and Prime Minister David Cameron, that they are committed to Lesbian & Gay equality, including same sex marriage.

I read Bishop Gene Robinson's book 'In the EYE of the STORM, whilst I waited in the queue to enter the hall of the ICC in Birmingham, to hear the speeches. I feel privileged to have met this remarkable man twice, so far.

Above I can be seen in a photo standing next to Buckenham Ward, Cllr. Adrian Joel.

It was great to see Williams Hague MP.

Some Girls Marry Girls...

Today I spent a lovely few hours at the London School of Economics for my Open University tutorial. Whilst at the LSE, I also attended a lecture from a professor of Social Science.

This afternoon, I enjoyed a relaxing 30 minute swim, afterwards I received the wonderful news I that the "La dolce Vita" [DVD] which I ordered from Amazon.co.uk has been dispatched. Just in case you may be wondering, I am completely smitten with a certain sanctified lady, dressed as a nun. And not Whoopi Goldberg, charming as she is...

I have chosen to take two days off work, as annual leave, this week. The first day will be  Wednesday 10th October 2012, and that will be World Mental Health Day. I will be spending it in Birmingham at the Conservative Party Conference - wearing the pictured Stonewall 'Some Girls Marry Girls. Get Over It!'  whilst listening to Prime Minister David Cameron's speech. The second annual leave day will be Thursday, which I will spend at the Charity Revolving Doors    www.revolving-doors.org.uk   I will be involved in putting together a brief for police leads responsible for the transfer of healthcare in police custody to the NHS. The briefing will give views of people with mental health conditions who have experience of police custody on what healthcare in police custody should look like. Considering my contact with the police, it may be beneficial to share about my experience and my views.

It will be my birthday, on Saturday. I will be 51 years old. I am really looking forward to it, because I will be able to spend a few hours of quality time, loving and nurturing my beloved son, James and being pampered by him.
